The LSI SAS 9207-4i4e host bus adapter provides high-performance solutions for internal and external storage connectivity in 1U/2U servers and workstations. The LSI SAS 9207-4i4e offers 8 channels of 6Gb/s SAS, paired with 8-channel PCI Express 3.0, and the 8Gb/s performance eliminates any performance bottleneck. The performance is based on the LSISAS2308 6Gb/s SAS IO controller, which is highly integrated with the latest enhancements of PCI Express and SAS technology.
The LSI SAS 9207-4i4e has one (x4) built-in mini SAS connector (SFF8087) and one (x4) external mini SAS connector (SFF8088), providing SAS and SATA data transfer rate channels every 1.5, 3, and 6Gb/s, capable of achieving over 650K IOPS.
